We are headed back to KC Wineworks for our September DrunKCo BunKCo, raising money for the Ovarian Cancer Coalition and Susan's NY Marathon! SEPTEMBER DRUNKCO BUNKCO! We are headed to KC Wineworks for our SEPTEMBER DRUNKCO BUNCKO! This month we will be partnering with my dear friend Susan as she raises money for The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in order to honor her Mother in Law AND run the New York City Marathon in November! Tickets are $25 per person via the Eventbrite link below OR Venmo to Baylie-Jabben. Doors open at 6pm (or feel free to come earlier to eat and mingle), Game Play will start around 6:30pm. Never played?? No biggie! We will go over all rules here in the group AND before we play that night! Super easy to catch on and very do-able while sipping some great beverages! (If you've been to a past event, please note the rules will be slightly different due to mask mandates!) There will be tons of prizes throughout the game and a 50/50 cash raffle with a chance to take home some moolah! From Susan's Fundraising Page: Friends, family, community....... I did it again, sleep deprived decisions........except this year, I registered for the 2021 TCS New York City Marathon event because I want to support my mother in law, Sharon Adams, and show her that her fight is my fight and to raise awareness for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. As most of you know, Sharon, has been battling a rare form of Ovarian Cancer since the fall of 2019 and recently started yet another form of chemo. She's been the kind, giving soul with the huge heart to so many out there and now it's time to give her back the flowers she's so often handed out. I'll run the miles because she can't to show her my love and gratitude. It will help improve the lives of women, families and communities touched by ovarian cancer but I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts. In this year of great challenges, one even greater challenge remains, saving more lives from ovarian cancer. Dollars raised for the NOCC support national programs and local market initiatives to heighten awareness of the subtle signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, assist newly-diagnosed patients throughout the country, provide ongoing support to caregivers, and advocate for the advancement of ovarian cancer research. Please drink responsibly and have a DD, Uber or Lyft on speed dial.
