A benefit concert featuring four local Minneapolis bands, delicious cocktails by Twin Spirits, a silent auction, and local eats. Come enjoy some of the best local live music Minneapolis has to offer while sipping an intricately crafted cocktail under the tent at Twin Spirits Distillery in Northeast. There will be a food truck presence and the venue has shaded, sunny, eccentric, and enclosed seating options and some of the most creative and delicious concoctions in the neighborhood. This event is intended as a fundraiser on behalf of the cystic Fibrosis Foundation and in support of their relentless struggle against cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system, making it difficult to breathe without treatment twice a day and a challenge to maintain proper nutrition. This disease overwhelmingly affects children and young people as the average life expectancy age is about 40 years. The Foundation is a non-profit institution dedicated to providing support for families struggling with cystic fibrosis, disseminating education and awareness about this seldom discussed disease, and raising funds to continue research toward finding a cure. Donations and proceeds from cocktail sales and the silent auction will go directly toward funding research through the Foundation and to support for families struggling as vulnerable children acclimate to life post-quarantine again.
