Waltham Businesses Showcase Local Artwork On Moody Street

WALTHAM, MA — Watch City Arts and the Waltham Mills Artists' Association have teamed up to showcase the work of local artists in seven business windows on Moody Street. The artwork will be on display from Thursday, September 16 until Tuesday, October 12, with an Art Window Walk scheduled for Saturday, October 2. During the walk, Watch City Arts will share stories of the artists and their work. "During the 2020 Open Studios panel discussion on Building Creative Community in Waltham, the idea of an art window walk was one of many bantered about," said Waltham Open Studios in an announcement. "Combine this idea with the City's decision to keep a section of Moody Street open to pedestrians, and with the support of the Waltham Cultural Council, an art walk was born."
