A Hernando County firefighter has died from COVID-19 complications. 44-year-old David Hackett joined the fire department in 2002 and was promoted to driver engineer in 2013. He leaves behind his wife and two children. (Fox 13 Tampa) 2. Masks Optional Again: The mask mandate in Sarasota County Schools has been suspended, according to the district.
