Vienna Oktoberfest Returns In 2021 With Beer, Entertainment

VIENNA, VA — Prost! Vienna Oktoberfest is back in 2021 after being canceled last year for pandemic reasons. The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event location is the Town Green, Mill Street NE, Church Street NE, and Dominion Road NE. Oktoberfest will offer food, beer and other drinks, vendors, children's activities, and performances. Attendance is free, but there is a cost for food, beverages and vendor purchases. The Food, Beer and Wine Garden in the area of the Caboose will include American Prime, Caboose Brewing Company, Family PASS, lTTR Sotheby's International Realty, and Vienna Vintner. A food and beer court along Mill Street NE include Caboose Brewing Company, Colombian Station, Kona Ice, Mexicano Square, NC Ribs on Wheels, Red Hot and Blue, Rustic Love, TK Grill, Turkish Grill NC, and Viva Sol Cafe and Bake Shop. Food vendors along Church Street will include Ben & Jerry's, Caffe Amouri, Cocoa Vienna, Foster's Grille, Food Fest, Laughing Crab Catering, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Rita's of Vienna and Tony's NY Pizza. Attendees are also encouraged to visit restaurants along Church Street, Dominion Road, and Maple Avenue. Performances will be offered on three stages. The German Main Stage will showcase the Sexton's German Band from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., U.S. Army Band Downrange from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Ocho de Bastos from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Town Green Stage will be more kid-focused with the Vienna Singing Princesses show at 11 a.m. and meet-and-greet at 12 p.m., Cuppett's Performing Arts Center at 1 p.m., Falling Home at 2 p.m., Maple Academy Irish Dancing at 3 p.m., Vienna Dance Academy at 4 p.m., and Rocknoceros Spectacular from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Center Street Stage will feature The Coozies at 11 a.m., PG and the Hot Tips at 2 p.m., Falling Home at 4 p.m., and Surfabilly Vibe at 5 p.m. Other entertainment includes the Kids Zone on the Town Green, crafter and artist vendors along Church Street, Business Expo vendors along Church Street, and Marketplatz vendors along Dominion Road. A shuttle will be provided from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. from James Madison High School or Vienna Metro North to the festival via Ayr Hill Avenue and Dominion Road NE.
