Construction- Site Superintendent

Eastwood Development is looking for a Site Superintendent to manage on-site construction and quality control of custom projects. On a daily basis, the Site Superintendent manages fellow employees, subcontractors, scheduling of and interaction with vendors, clients, and office staff. We are a high-end firm with two distinct sides of business- Client and Development. When working on client projects, Site Superintendents collaborate with Project Managers to address the needs of clients, architects, and designers. In development projects, the focus is on in-house design. These projects require a quicker turnaround, with room for creative input. Responsibilities: - Ensure that projects are built to requirements and specifications established by construction drawings, building codes, and clients - Manage critical path schedules and budgets - Interface with architects, engineers and clients to ensure project meets design specifications - Monitor project quality and cost control - Manage all subcontractors and site employees - Work with Project Managers to ensure the delivery of successful projects - Ensure the safety of construction site Required Skills: - 5+ years of experience in residential construction in San Francisco/Bay Area - Comprehension of structural/architectural/specification drawings - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mac OS, Dropbox, ProCore - Valid Drivers License - Ability to clearly communicate internally and externally via email, in person, and by phone - Positive attitude and ability to work well with others Benefits: - Option of profit sharing on development projects - Medical - Company truck provided - A supportive, friendly, and enthusiastic work environment COVID-19: -We have protocols for all job sites, and safety measures in place at our office.
