Join us and Executive Producer of "The Tranz Form" for a private viewing of the docuseries followed by a live podcast. The Tranz Form is a docuseries created by Miami artists and author Octavia Yearwood spotlighting the lives, passions, and struggles of three local trans women of color in Miami — Elle, Xaria, and Brielle. It highlights the trans experience and raises awareness of the violence that trans women of color have faced in the past year. The docuseries has been featured in the Miami Times, The New Tropic, and was picked up by OutTV. We invite you to join us for a private screening of Episode I: Hey Gworl Hey and Episode V: Safe, What?! Safe, Where?! with the creator and Executive Producer of "The Tranz Form" Octavia Yearwood followed by a live taping of The Tranz Form podcast with local members of Central Florida's genderfluid, nonbinary, and trans community. We will have light refreshments and look forward to seeing you for an evening of awareness, film, and fun. COVID-19 Policy/Procedure: We have reduced the event attendance to allow for proper physical distancing and ask that attendees wear their masks at all times except for when drinking and eating. The Bros in Convo Initiative (TBICI) builds community among Black and Brown bisexual, gay, queer, and same gender loving men while promoting and protecting their health equity and well being.
