Learn how to make your very own candles out of beeswax at our FREE workshop! Honeybees are tiny and amazing creatures that make more than just honey. Beeswax has been used in a variety different ways for centuries, most notably for making candles. Join us and our beekeeper from Alvéole for an hour-long workshop where you will be guided through the process of making hand-dipped beeswax candles while also learning more about this fascinating hive product. This is a FREE event, but registration is required. Conscious Connections Inc. is a nonprofit that provides educational programming and operates an urban farm located in Wilmington, Delaware. We are passionate about serving our community with increased opportunities for learning and access to fresh food. Through our community outreach efforts, a safe place for youth has been created where we nurture creativity, ingenuity, and self empowerment.
