The Position: Playground Premium Auto Recycling Inventory Associates are responsible for automotive part identification, evaluating condition, documenting data into our database, cleaning and presentation of parts, imaging, and stocking of parts our warehouse. Inventory Associates also assist from time to time with listing our inventory online. This role coordinates with all of our other areas including shipping, dismantling and customer service. The Requirements: Inventory Associates are required to work standing, sitting, bending and moving, and also need the ability to lift up to 50lbs. They should have the ability to identify automotive parts quickly and be able to articulate condition accurately. Inventory Associates spend roughly 70% of their time on a computer workstation or tablet/smartphone so basic computer skills are required as well as a strong attention to detail. Most importantly you must be passionate about all things automotive. Candidates should have completed high school or a GED, have a drivers license, and have some background in Automotive (mechanic, parts, gearhead, etc.). The Location: Our shop is located in the southern Port Washington industrial park, about 5 minutes north of Costco. The Hours: This is a full time position within our small company, the hours are Monday through Friday and there is no weekend work. We are flexible in what hours can be worked, which makes this job a good fit if you cannot work a traditional schedule. The Pay: Pay for this position is highly dependent on background and skills but is generally between $13-20 per hour and a profit sharing bonus. The position includes paid holidays and PTO hours.
