SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests (Only the names of those accused of major crimes are published): At 2:47 a.m. on Sept. 20, Secaucus Police responded to the Exxon gas station located at 209 Rt. 3 East on a report of a motor vehicle stopped at the gas pump with a flat tire and the occupant appeared to be unconscious. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old woman of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. She was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 8 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. At 9:56 a.m. on Sept. 20, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old male of Belleville, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Orange, NJ with no bail. He was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Orange Police Department. At 5:46 p.m. on Sept. 20, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male of Little Ferry, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Moonachie, NJ in the amount of $500 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. At 1:17 a.m. on Sept. 22, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take custody of a 46 -year-old male of Plainfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. At 8:00 p.m. on Sept. 22, Secaucus Police responded to the CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old female of North Bergen, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Percocet [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Tramadol [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 10:08 a.m. on Sept. 23, in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to a motor vehicle theft that occurred at 50 Meadowlands Parkway on Sept. 3, the police charged a 37-year-old male, Roberto Laboy of Union City, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and [Theft 2C:20-2B(2)(B)]. Laboy was found to be already held at the Hudson County Jail, on an unrelated arrest. Laboy was served his complaint summons and remained in the custody of the Hudson County Jail. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
