We are hiring for all positions! Carpenters, Laborers & Specialty/Finish Work - including flooring, trim work, cabinetry, tile work, framing, structural work, foundation & concrete (you tell us!) We offer very competitive wages and a good benefit package. Must be fully tooled to command top pay. Starting wage between $15.00 and $30.00 per hour, DOE with a good benefit package that includes medical and paid time off. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm, overtime may be required. We have a good mixture of residential remodel work and commercial/government contracts for limitless potential and room to grow. **Prevailing Wage Jobs will be paid at Published Rates per Trade.** APPLICANTS MUST: • Have your own reliable vehicle • Have a neat, clean, presentable appearance • Be 100% reliable, on time, every day • Have good communication skills • Have an unrestricted driver’s license • Be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test • Be drug-free at all times • Be willing to participate in after hours and weekend work as needed A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE HAS: • Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans, and other specifications required by our clientele for information pertaining to the type of material required to get the job done • Experience working with equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts • Strong working knowledge of jobsite safety as well as the ability to complete company-specific safety orientation. Safety and proper use of PPE is a must! • High standard of integrity and professionalism •High levels of motivation and the ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal direct supervision Responsibilities: • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed • Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements • Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items • Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible • Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated • Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance •Build scaffolding and other construction structures Skills • Proven experience as carpenter • Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.) • Ability to read technical documents and drawings • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times • Good knowledge of English • Good understanding of basic math • Good physical condition and endurance We have jobs in contract through 2023 in Thurston, Pierce, King, & Snohomish Counties.
