Coroner IDs Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Indian Wells

INDIAN WELLS, CA — A man killed by a vehicle Saturday in Indian Wells was a resident of that city. Eugene Ray III was 37 years old, the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau said. Ray's death was reported just after 5:15 a.m. near Highway 111 and Desert Horizons Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. The driver remained at the scene, cooperated with authorities and did not appear to be impaired, sheriff's officials said.
