Oswego Brewing, 2 Fools Cider: Brew At The Bridge Lineup Listed

OSWEGO, IL — Craft beer lovers will be gathering along the Fox River at Oswego's Hudson Crossing Park Oct. 9 to celebrate their love of the beverage. Organizers listed this year's lineup, and local breweries showing up include Oswego Brewing Co., 2 Fools Cider and Half Day Brewing Company. The Oswegoland Park District hosts the event — happening since 2012 — at 65 N. Harrison St. rain or shine. In the past, the lineup has exclusively featured breweries that earned top reputations. This year, it's no different. Ahead of the annual Brew at the Bridge event, here is a look at which local breweries — plus one from Iowa — will be present. For non-beer fans, a few cideries are also included in the lineup. For people who want to try avoiding the event frenzy, organizers are offering a $35 early entry starter pack, which gives guests access to all beer, seltzers and ciders an hour before the event starts. This year, Brew at the Bridge is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Although beer might be the center of attention at Brew at the Bridge, food also has its place in the spotlight. This year, "Chew at the Brew" will feature an assortment of foods, including barbecue from Brisket Brothers BBQ, wood-fired pizza from Calogero's, Italian foods from Genoa Italian Concessions, and bratwursts from Wurst Kitchen.
