NEWTOWN, PA — The Philadelphia Modifiers will be hosting their Hot Rod Motor Fair on Oct.2 at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds. The event comes months after the organization hosted the popular Penndel Classic Car Show. According to The Philadelphia Modifier's website, only classic vehicles made 1980 and older will be eligible to take place in the fair. These include muscle cars, classic cars, trucks, and vintage motorcycles. The Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, which had to cancel its annual Grange Fair for the second year in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will host the event this Saturday, with a rain date set for Sunday, Oct.3. The organization's Facebook page says the event will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants bringing their vehicles will be charged $15 and those who wish to hold a space at the flea market will be charged $20. All others will be charged $10 for admission, and children 12 and younger are free. A DJ and band will be playing at the event, as the event is labelled as "Fun for the Whole Family". Those attending will go to Penns Park Rd. in Newtown, PA.
