Punk band startup

I'm looking to start an alternative/rock/punk band along the lines of some of the melodic punk like No Use For A Name, The Ataris, MXPX, etc... but also not be pigeon holed into just one genre. My main musical influences are 90s alt (nirvana, foo fighters, weezer, chris cornell), ska/punk (less than jake, reel big fish, nofx, bad religion) and just rock in general like The White Stripes (although I'm definitely nowhere near Jack White's guitar or songwriting skill level). I'm a middle age singer/guitarist/songwriter so ideally looking for others around my age to jam with and eventually play regular local gigs. Obviously at first we'd be playing covers plus originals, but we'd thin those down to be mostly originals. At a minimum, looking for a bass player and drummer to be a 3 piece but may add a second guitar. This post may be a bit premature as I don't have any songs for this band fully written yet, but that just means whoever joins me can collaborate.
