6:02 PM! I guess Mom and Dad’s perusal of that cruise brochure is more important than my dinner being on time! The delay means that established protocol requires that I knock something over. Rather than the same old boring stuff off the kitchen counter I decide to change things up a bit. So I head for the vase on the shelf in the dinning room that Dad visits continuously. Wham! The floor is covered with Halloween candy of all kinds. Mom starts screaming at him about his diet and the weight he promised to lose before their vacation. Dad just glares, BUT dinner was served right away. Hey! sorry for the mess and the pushback, but rules are rules! Now that I’ve eaten, I can relax and enjoy Luke Combs’ amazing song Forever After All. Incidentally, his adorable rescue dog Jojo wore a tuxedo to Luke’s wedding.
