Description
WARWICK, PA — The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has set up a resource center at the Warwick Square shopping center for residents affected by the recent Hurricane Ida.
The resource center will have a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) located at the shopping center's former Giant grocery store location, which is located on 2395 York Rd. in Jamison. The Center will operate Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday.
The center will be sharing space with a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in an effort to help all local people and businesses with all their health needs in the wake of the hurricane.
According to the Hilltown Township Police Department, plans for similar resources centers in Upper and Lower Bucks County are currently being planned.
Those affected by the hurricane will be able to interact with specialists from FEMA and the U.S Small Business Administration for help in applying for federal aid. This is extended to those who run businesses, homeowners, and renters.
