Description
Year old pitsky looking for a good home. He’s an amazing dog, he’s loyal, he’s smart, he’s intelligent (sometimes too much for his own good). He knows sit, give me paw, and lay down. Sometimes if he gets excited for a treat he’ll throw you his paw because he gets excited. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. His name is Bimmy. He isn’t fixed yet, but should be, only because he’s had issues being attacked by other intact male dogs in the past and now fears them and only really gets along with females. He’d need to be the only male dog in the house. He likes cats, the problem is he wants to be their best friend, and they don’t want to be his friend. I’ve tried explaining that to him but he doesn’t get it 😂 he’s the sweetest dog, if you’re sad, he gets anxious until he can cuddle you and give you kisses on your face. His one vise: he likes to jump on people. He doesn’t bit, but he comes close to your mouth sometimes quickly and it scares people. He sometimes has accidents inside still, but can hold it for long periods of time if he’s crated. He is crate trained, he loves his crate and will sleep in it with the door open. He doesn’t fuss when you leave him, but if you leave him out, in true husky fashion, he will destroy whatever he can get his paws on. I’m in no rush to find him a new home, I want to ensure the people I’m giving him to can provide everything he needs. He needs to be updated on shots, he needs to be fixed, he needs to continue to be on blue Buffalo puppy or another high protein diet. Most importantly, he needs to be with someone who can provide him with an active lifestyle (because he can go and go and go and go and won’t get tired), and someone who will love him unconditionally. He deserves that. I’d like for you to meet with him at least twice before taking him home with you. I’m not asking for a fee, just that he has an amazing home. I’d like vet references if you can provide them, and if not, an upcoming scheduled appointment with your local vet is fine. I’d also like if you could send me pictures of your backyard situation, as he’ll likely need a fenced yard, he loves to escape and the only way to get him back is by getting on the ground and calling him like you’re super excited to see him. Otherwise he’ll think you’re mad and keep running. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this, I hope you can provide him the loving home he needs. Also, he’s good with kids, but due to jumping up and not knowing his own strength, I wouldn’t suggest any children under the age of 10, just so they don’t get knocked down by him.
