Description: Our client GKN in Salem, Indiana is searching for skilled CNC Operators. This position is from 5:50p-6a. This is a temp to hire position that will lead to a rewarding career. GKN is a leader in the revolution of aerospace and the science of metal fabrication. Job Responsibilities: Start and stop equipment to run production. Identify product and shop orders to ensure proper jobs are being ran. Properly report scrap and labor information using written, as well as electronic data collection devices. Select correct containerization for parts being produced. Participate in problem solving activities. Adjust equipment to obtain part specification per process sheets and maintain within control limits. Perform TPM and prepare equipment for preventative maintenance. Position requires high school diploma or GED. Prior experience as a machine operator is required. Ability to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions. Use arithmetic to add, subtract and multiply whole numbers and fractions. Perform all inspection functions per written procedure. Identify product to ensure proper jobs being ran. Collaborate with team members and Team Leads to identify improvements.
