We are looking for a custodian to work across three of our facilities. The individual will perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks. To work well in the role, this individual must have (2+ years) in cleaning and other janitorial work. Qualifications: -High School Diploma of GED -Valid Pa Driver's License, and reliable vehicle to drive to multiple locations in South Hills Area -Have a cell phone -Handle cleaning and other janitorial work -Ability to manage work time efficiently -Work independently when supervisors are not present -Able to use basic cleaning equipment and work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies -Able to lift at least 50 lbs -Background check -Drug & Alcohol free workplace Duties and Responsibilities: -General cleaning of buildings and keeping them maintained and in good condition -Vacuum carpet/Sweep, mop hard floor surfaces, stairwells, hallways. -Collect and dispose of trash -Clean spills when appropriate -Clean vacant apartments, refrigerators, stoves, bathrooms, toilets and showers -Use carpet cleaning machine and water extraction machine -Clean areas around dumpsters & parking lots -Break down and dispose of furniture around dumpsters -Able to move equipment, furniture, and appliances, so as to clean around, inside and underneath appliances -Complete all tasks in timely manner -Notify supervisors and managers of major repairs -Perform as needed(install light bulbs on ladder) -Ensure doors are locked after hours (if last person in building) -Consistent attendance is an "essential" duty for this position FAX RESUME TO: (412) 833-2616
