Evari GIS Consulting, Inc. seeks to hire a Field Technician for a project-based, full-time position that will support field data collection efforts in EC service area west of Austin. Employees will work in Austin area to survey and collect location, photos and other information and attribute data about existing streetlight fixtures. The successful candidate will work as part of a team that travels throughout the PEC project boundary. The job length is projected to be ~2 months. New hires will be trained by and work alongside our team of experienced Field Leads and GIS Technicians. $14.89 hr start pay, paid biweekly + Reimbursement for car mileage while working ($.56/mile) Required Skills and Experience Comfortable navigating Android tablet Clean driving record Attention to work safety measures Must provide personal car for work (mileage reimbursed) Desired Characteristics Strong work ethic, enthusiasm for learning Interest in energy efficiency/infrastructure projects Team player, cooperative, and ability to work well with coworkers Problem-solver, excited about challenges and finding solutions Employment Terms and Benefits: 40 hours per week during daylight hours.
