Water Damage Restoration Lead Technician Salary $36,000 - $60,000 a year Job Type Full-Time Full Job Description We are a Restoration Company in the city of Paramount looking for an experienced Lead Water Damage Technician. We strive to exceed our customers’ expectations and know that the job is only as good as the technician behind it. Therefore, we are looking for someone with a good attitude, dependable hard-working self-starter who is able to work well with a team. Applicants must have 1 - 2 years of experience in water damage emergency service operations with knowledge of mold, water, and sewage clean-up. Responsibilities: • Must be proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, Crawlspace & Sewage Clean up, and fire damage clean-up • Execute job tasks assigned in a timely manner within the scope of the project. • Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner • Respond to jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards • monitoring the drying process, and provide customer service • Setting up air movers/dehumidifiers/specialty equipment • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights and in tight spaces such as attics and crawlspaces • Ability to work with/around cleaning products and chemical • Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork • Sketch & Measure Property, Complete Drying Logs, Moisture Readings, take pictures and other paperwork • Maintain all company restoration equipment clean and properly maintained to be available at all times • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions • Drive Cargo Van and Box Truck. • Respond to dispatch emergency calls including after hours and rotating weekends. Job Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Restoration experience 1-2 years is a must • This position requires you to be on call • Must be available to work weekends • Valid Driver's License • Clean Driving DMV record • Pass Background Screening • Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. • Excellent communication skills • Strong listening and interpersonal skills • Excellent working knowledge of hand and power tools.
