The Grounds Guys of Bozeman is actively seeking a high-energy Snow Shovel Crew Member with a passion for customer service. $500 bonus after 3 months of full time work This is an on-call position for the entirety of the winter season. Once the winter season is over, all high-quality employees interested in full-time & year-round work can transition into either our Landscape Install or our Landscape Maintenance teams. We expect all applicants to be proactive leaders and self-starters who can interact with the public and our other employees. You must have a strong work ethic and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. Snow shoveling is an on-call position, lasting for the entirety of the winter. When snow removal hours are not available, we are often able to offer in-shop hours doing basic maintenance on our equipment. Job Requirements: Attention to detail, you are responsible for job quality Ability to operate a full-size pickup truck in snowy conditions. A solid understanding of winter weather, and a willingness to work no matter the weather conditions. Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature. Preferred, but not required: Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to skid steer, truck/trailer, excavator, dingo, trencher. Irrigation installation experience such as installation of commercial or residential systems. Familiar with drip/rotors/spray heads, poly and PVC lines, Rainbird and Hunter Controllers.
