As much as I absolutely love this dog-- due to me having had my baby a few weeks ago. I've found it very difficult to handle them both. My puppy Ellie just has too much energy for me to deal with right now especially with a baby in the house now. She is the sweetest but I'm just scared she'll get a little too hyper around the baby and I would hate for anything to happen due to her simply being a playful puppy. She is very very smart, she knows sit, stay, lay down, paw, spin and wait and she knows to go to her cage when you tell her too. She has her first set of shots and is due for her second set. I did start potty training right before my son was born but I haven't been able to complete it so that'll need to be worked on. I sadly have not been able to spend much time with her, with my newborn now home. She deserves better I feel she'll do best with someone who has time for her.
