I am looking for 1 dedicated worker for a general labor position at a local small business in Columbus, Ohio.  You must be very reliable, honest, hard-working and be willing to work consistently. Job Description: You will be grinding and cleaning material by hand, using a bench grinder to smooth the material and then cleaning each item by hand using water. Everything needs to be smooth, cleaned and processed into excellent condition.  It's fairly simple work but this requires excellent efficiency, attention to detail and dedication. • You will be standing, bending and reaching throughout your entire shift.  • You will get dirty, dusty and your hands will get wet during part of the processing that we do. (PPE provided and required to wear) • 75% of your time will be spent grinding and the rest of your time will be spent cleaning material. • You need to be able to lift 60+ lbs occasionally. • Dress Code: Pants & closed toe shoes required, other than that you may dress casual. • Gloves, respirator, dust protective clothing, hearing protection & safety glasses are provided. • You must be familiar with using a bench grinder or be at least somewhat mechanically inclined. REQUIRED. • Key attributes required: Efficiency, attention to detail, honesty, integrity, reliable and self-motivated. Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday (possibly some Fridays) 8am – 4pm (32 hours – 40 hours). Schedule can be somewhat flexible. Location: Columbus, OH near Greenlawn Ave. / Berliner Park Pay / Benefits: • Your pay rate starting out is $18/hr. • After 3 weeks of excellent performance, your pay rate will increase to $19/hr. • Raises can be negotiated over time.  You take care of me and I will certainly take care of you. • Pay is weekly, every Wednesday by direct deposit or check via ADP.  • After 90 days you will have access to PTO + Sick Pay • After 1 year you will have access to 401k benefits + Health/Dental/Vision Insurance • No advances, no cash, no exceptions, no bad attitudes. • You must continue to meet production & attendance requirements. Bad attitude, poor performance or bad character will not be tolerated what so ever.  We’re all very easy going and get along well, we’re a small team that shows up to work consistently and we take care of what needs done.  So that’s the benchmark for what we’re looking for. Requirements: 1) You must be able to stand for a long period of time. 2) You must be ok with getting dirty, wearing a full face respirator and getting your hands dirty/wet. 3) You must be mechanically inclined (able to efficiently and safely work with a bench grinder) 4) Efficiency, attention to detail, honesty, integrity, reliability, and self-motivated. 5) You must have reliable transportation. 6) You must have a working cell phone. 7) You must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week (32 minimum).  8) You must be able to lift 60+ lbs occasionally. 9) You must be able to pass a background check & a drug test.
