Simple drywall job to cover long opening in ceiling between 1st floor and second floor. It is only for purposes of abiding to fire code, not for aesthetics. Hence only securing drywall to existing drywall ceiling is needed with screws:
1. No taping needed
2. just screwing 8 sheets of 2'x8' pieces of 5/8" drywall
3. Will need tall ladder as ceilings are 12 feet high
Separately, I need 5 combo smoke/carbon detectors to be installed in 2 separate buildings. Simple battery operated kind. No wiring necessary.
