Our sweet Apryl needs a new home where she is the only pet. Apryl will be 3 years old in October and is truly a very good, sweet girl. We have two other dogs and a cat and Apryl is starting to get food and toy aggressive. Other than this issue she is a wonderful dog who loves to lay next to you while you watch TV or work from home. She would absolutely love to sleep on the bed with you but we rarely allow that so she sleeps on her blankets on the floor. Apryl may be a bit timid around younger children because she has never been around them and I cannot confidently say she would get used to them. I would recommend that the children in the family be at least 10 years old for Apryl to be a good fit. She is indoor potty trained but if that is not the path you want to take I would suggest that she has a doggy door, as she has not been trained to let us know when she needs to go. We have always free fed her and she does not over eat. She allows us to bath and brush her and trim her nails so we are not sure how she would behave if brought to a groomers. As all dogs do, she does bark at people who come to the door or at unusual noises but she will not continuously bark at nothing or if you leave her alone in the house. She loves to play tug-of-war and will also fetch. We use the command "off" for almost everything we want her to stop doing. She also knows "down" and "leave it" and she sometimes understands when we say "go get your ball". She is spayed but due to the pandemic I have not taken her to the vet to get her up to date on her shots. I know she is due for her rabies but not sure what else she would need. I have all her vaccination/medical records. As you can see in the pictures she truly loves her doggy sisters, except when they get near the food or her toys.
