Description

Unfortunately today, I am writing this post because I need to find a better suited home for my girl here. She is a one year old ball-catching superstar who loves sports and spending time with friends of all ages (she might be too rambunctious for toddlers who aren’t stable on their feet yet!), especially if they like to teach her new games. A perfect day for smart Haven includes running around the yard or playing ball, stopping by a training class, then snuggling up for a nap on your lap. Haven prefers not to share her home with small dogs, but has lived cats and does fine with dogs her size or bigger. If your family loves going on adventures and wants a best friend to join in on the fun, from hiking to drive-in movies to rally tournaments, you might be the perfect match for my sweet, silly Girl! Now to the sad stuff, be aware… I’m not sugar coating anything. I am rehoming her because she has a few health needs that I am not financially equipped to handle. Before at bate comes in my inbox, yes… I was and still am very well aware of the fact that dogs cost money in all aspects. Except when it comes to her, I’m running out of options. Haven has a extremely sensitive stomach. There are even some brands of food she CANNOT EAT. She can’t eat purina, natural balance, fresh pet, iffy on Victor, 4Health, Royal Canin, and Simply Nourish. The only Victor she can eat is Victor Select Beef and Brown Rice. She also has to be on vitamins. She takes PetHonest MultiVitamin. She takes 2 a day everyday. She also can barely eat any treats. The only treats she’s able to handle are authority BACON training treats, Vita Bone, and old mother Hubbard bones. Any other treat makes her ill. She is house broken when outside the kennel and never goes in her kennel either. She has a strict potty schedule when it comes to her last outing. She HAS to be out last BY 9:30pm or else she WILL have an accident! Other than that, any time during the day she’ll be ok! She walks okay on the leash. She needs more training on that. Talking about training though, she does know a few commands. She knows sit, wait (stay), come, paw, other paw, high five, kennel up, get in (for car), kiss, gentle, and possibly more. She is due for more vaccines by the end of next month but I will get them updated. She does come with ALL her stuff. All her toys, leashes, collars, her kennel, Her toy bucket, her food, her food container, her food bowl, and more if I forgot anything else. She is a very special girl and I love her so much. She will only go to the best home. Please email me with a introduction of yourself and your family (that includes pets), a vet reference, and a couple personal references. If you don’t have a vet reference because she would be your first dog, please tell me the veterinarian that you plan on using and then tell me how you think you’d be best suited for her. In the subject line, please put your favorite color so I know that you read EVERYTHING! This is super important. If I don’t see a color either in the subject line or as the very first word in your email, I will not respond. She will come with updated veterinary care, flea and tick treatment, all her supplies, and of course her. For most of her vaccines after this visit, she will not need to see the veterinarian again until 2024! :)
