Description
Working 1960s band that averages two gigs a month needs to replace keyboardist-singer and drummer-singer. We have a nice following. We have a guitarist/keyboardist/singer, bassist/singer and a second guitarist. We do rock-pop-jazz-blues fusion; cool songs from the 60s and 70s that are often not your standard three chord, twelve barre blues. We need experienced guys on drums or keyboards who can play 1960s style and can sing about 50% of our songs. Practice weekly. No drugs, booze or drama. Some of the songs we do include: Brandy, Route 66, Sunny, Rainy Night in Georgia, Midnight At the Oasis, Fool Around and Fell in Love, Moondance, etc. Must be dedicated. No bangers please. We want someone with chops for rock, blues, rockabilly, jazz standards and soul. Must keep superlative time, know when to use brushes, understands dynamics and low volume drumming. Interested? Please get back to me and we can schedule an audition. Thanks.
