Job description PORT OF TEXAS CITY JOB SITE: Job Description: * Must have a safe working knowledge of hand tools such as grinders, wire wheel brushes, needle gun, drills, etc. * Must be able to work on or over water maintaining ship fender systems and docks. * Duties will include removing rust, painting surfaces, as well as replacing or bolting up hardware and shackles, as well as other structural steel work, as well as general industrial labor as required. Work week is generally Monday - Thursday, 10-hour days, subject to weather and Port activities. ***Crew will have to work around ship traffic.
