Roanoke Parks and Recreation is hosting a firewood giveaway on Saturday, October 9 from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Fallon Park wood lot. Staff will be on site, but interested parties are responsible for cutting their own wood. Interested parties are encouraged to bring their own chainsaws; staff will not have any on site.
