I’m looking to rehome my year and a half old male blue & gold macaw. He’s a very social guy, he has a large cage, but spends 24 hours a day out/on the cage he moves about freely. We get his nails clipped, but his wings are not clipped he will fly to you, he wears a harness with a leash when he goes outside. He’s a big cuddly kissy guy. He is the only bird here at my home, but I’ve introduced him to another macaw & he was very happy to be around him. I’d prefer for him to go to someone whom has experience with these birds, it’s a way bigger responsibility than I had expected I hate to part with him, but he requires more time than I have to give him. This is a very needy boy. He is still a baby so I’m looking for someone understands that he will live for the next 50+ years.
