Toxic Waves Co-Producer: Toxic Waves is a weekly 45-minute show of live standup comedy by Justin Golak performed over original music. This role has room for growth including co-producing other live shows and events and doing promotional work for digital content. You are: -In Chicago -Interested in event and entertainment promotions -Friendly and trustworthy -Genuinely excited to get to know new people, build audiences, and be out late on a Friday night Responsibilities: -Promote the show and pack the house with audience members each week -Be at the venue one hour before the show and a half hour afterward (2.5 hours total) -Work the door and perform front of house duties on show night (i.e., greet ticket holders, manage seating, bark in audience members) Compensation: $50 a week guaranteed base pay, plus up to 50% of ticket sales To apply: Reply to this job posting with an answer to the following questions: Why are you interested in this position?
