We have a loving cat, 6 years old. But she is not like any cat you have seen. She is a calico color. She goes for walks twice daily without a lease. We live on a culdesac and she will not cross any road without permission. She is like a guard cat. She has no fear of any dog. We were sitting at a gazebo at our clubhouse, and a man stopped to talk with a big german sheppard. He let the dog get to close to us and tubby attacked him like a lion attacks a gazelle She had him by the jugular and the dog was screaming for help. Luckily we got her off of him. She is very protective of her humans. About a month ago there was about a 3 1/2 foot gator strolling through our back yard, from a little stream nearby. I saw Tubby out the kitchen window go after him, and by the time I got there he was dead. She ripped his guts out. When people walk by our home with their dogs, tubby sits at the end of the driveway just daring them to come a little closer. But she is loving to us. She is very independent, and prefers outside. We have a cat door and she comes in when she is hungry and then goes back out, but she prefers to sleep inside at night. The other night a BIG racoon came in the cat door into the living room, and tubby beat the crap out of him. I'm not worried about him coming back, and he was twice as big as tubby. If you have a phone we can text, we can send you pictures of tubby. We have to get rid of her because of my failing heath. I am 73. If you live in the country, you will love her.
