Description

The Ship/Terminal Checker is responsible for recording cargo movement through the terminal, to and from the customer carrier, in a responsible, safe and efficient manner. • Count, inspect, sort, identify and record storage location of all cargo discharging (or coming off a vessel) • Count, inspect, sort, identify and record stow location of all cargo stowed (or being loaded onto a vessel) • Load / unload trucks • Mark and take dimensions of cargo • Keep written tallies and records • Maintain records with the use of electronic equipment (tablets & scanners) Benefits: • Vacation • 401K • Excellent training program with ongoing training to help advance your career Requirements: • Must have a valid DL and TWIC card
