Description

Bring your pup out to trick or treat with Pet People New Albany and local businesses. RESCUEDohio and Pet People New Albany are excited to host another year of trick or treating! Partnering with the local businesses in New Albany, you and your pup will visit the local businesses participating in this doggy trick-or-treat event. Check in will begin at 11am at Pet People New Albany where you will receive your map and bag to collect your goodies. The entire route is about a half mile starting at Johnson's Ice Cream and moving around the downtown New Albany area.  Tickets admit one pup so if you're bringing multiple dogs, please purchase additional tickets. This will help ensure we have enough treats for all pups. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. We can't wait to see you October 30! All proceeds benefit RESCUEDohio!  We will also be doing a costume contest at Pet People. There will be a prize awarded to the winner. Winners do not need to be present to win. RESCUEDohio was founded on August 1, 2015 by a group of dedicated animal lovers in the central Ohio area.  The founders came from various different vocational backgrounds, but all have one thing in common:  the passion to save dogs.  Before starting RESCUEDohio, they were previously involved in different aspects of rescue, including fostering, fundraising, coordinating and training.  The mission of this group is to help find homes for unwanted and abandoned dogs and to advocate for the rights of all animals everywhere. RESCUEDohio is a 501(c)3 organization that is run 100% by volunteers.  We have a board consisting of three members:  Kara Schrinner, Jillian Lenczicki, and Niki Johnson.
