Work and Social Balance is a topic that I would have wanted as a freshman. Transitioning from high school to college life was difficult, especially when you are meeting an entire new group of people in a new environment. The topic of Work and Social Balance will help students learn to manage their schoolwork while also finding the time to spend time with friends. I will also touch upon places that students can go to near campus so that they can get back to their schoolwork whenever they want at their convenience. Work and Social Balance can support students by giving them the opportunity to connect with other students either in academics or to have someone to explore with. By learning the balance of work and social life, students can reduce stress significantly knowing that they have friends that go through the same work they do and to just take breaks if needed.
Students who attend will be able to learn to reduce stress and maintain their stress levels. Students who attend will be able to learn the 5 steps to working life balance. Students who attend will be able to have a more positive perception and feel happier at MCPHS.
