OWA's Fundraising Dinner will contribute 50% of the funds raised from meals purchased to assist women and children in the Americas. OWA's Theme for 2021 is focused on Education. OWA's goal is to support education for children and provide aid for at least three countries in the year 2021. El tema de OMA para 2021 se centra en la educación. El objetivo de OMA es apoyar la educación de los niños y proporcionar ayuda para al menos tres países en el año 2021. The Organization of Women of the Americas (OWA), a non-profit, charitable organization operated under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, was founded in 1997. Its membership comprise of lady Ambassadors, accredited to the Organization of American States as Permanent Representatives and Observers, the wives of Ambassadors, who are Permanent Representatives and Observers to the OAS, Alternates, wives of Alternates, the wife of the Secretary General and of the Assistant Secretary General; as well as associate members. The principal objectives of the OWA are:to sensitize the public on the needs and problems of women and children in the Americas;to strengthen the ties between member countries of the Organization of American States; and to unite the diplomatic community and citizens of the Americas who live in the Washington DC Metropolitan area; with a view to promoting cultural events and organizing fund raising activities that help to address the needs of charities and programs that provide supprt to women and children in this region of the world. As a non-profit Organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, your kind and generous contribution is 100% tax deductible.
