Do you just not really have enough time to devote to your horse but cant afford to get it a companion or pay someone to spend time with your horse when you can't?
I used to work with horses, but several years ago I injured my back (ironically while moving around my furniture not anything horse related) I have never met a horse I didn't get along with. However since I injured my back I haven't been around horses much and have gained weight done to limited mobility... I am able to walk but sometimes my right leg gives out for a split second due to nerve issues from the back injury, but generally if I have something even remotely steady to hold onto them I can avoid falling..... I have worked with horses a few times since my injury though not in the last few years. If you can provide transportation I am willing to spend as much time with your horse grooming and doing groundwork type stuff and even just being there for safety if you want to have enrichment/ horse toys in the pasture for them to play with if you wanted that....... I would even be happy to work on cleaning any leather tack that needs it while there.
I figure this set up would be great for you and me... You get a horse who isn't going barn/pasture sour in-between rides. And I get to spend time around a horse again hopefully spending at least part of the time grooming them and walking around your pasture or riding ring with your horse as my walking partner. I also m perfectly fine with signing a liability waiver... Also if your horse has any issues like maybe being nervous of getting I your horse trailer or if your horse tends to be head shy or ear shy etc then I would in be happy to work with your horse on those issues, if it's something I don't think I could help then I will be honest with you about that.
