Join Barnard Mutual Aid as we organize on campus all weekend to promote community care! SCHEDULE: Saturday 10/9, 10AM - 12PM (DIANA, STUDENT LEADERSHIP CENTER): Join a team of students who will help with the intake, sorting, labeling, and organizing of donated items for the Community Closet to prepare for its first pop-up. Saturday 10/9, 1PM - 3PM (DIANA, STUDENT LEADERSHIP CENTER): Join a team of students who will be putting up flyers around campus to promote awareness of the Barnard Mutual Aid Fund and Barnard Community Closet. Saturday 10/9, 12PM - 4PM (DIANA, STUDENT LEADERSHIP CENTER): Register for a 30 minute shift to staff the first Barnard Community Closet pop-up, which will be happening at this time. 16 volunteers needed. Saturday 10/9, 5PM - 6PM (DIANA, STUDENT LEADERSHIP CENTER): Let's talk leadership! Grab dinner and come sit on the grass in front of Diana - we'll discuss opportunities for leadership in the initiative, eat, and listen to music. Sunday 10/10, 11AM - 12PM (ATHENA CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP): Join the first general leadership meeting of Barnard Mutual Aid. All who are interested in getting involved are welcome to come learn, collaborate, and meet! Space is limited to 15, so registration is first-come, first-serve.
