American Open Scholastic on Saturday is for grades Kindergarten to 5th grade. For higher rating or grade levels, see the sections on Sunday There will be no on-site/same day registration. Registration must be received by November 20, 2021 to allow for proper planning. Entry fees are: $60 by September 30$70 by October 31$80 by November 20Schedule: Game 30 min/5 second delay. Check in between 8 am and 9 am. Round 1 starts at 9:30 am Awards estimated at around 6 pmOther notes: Bye requests: Half-point Byes must be requested on registration. Zero point for byes requested thereafter.Requests for refunds must be in writing through Eventbrite or by email to [email protected]. Refund amount will be $25 less than amount paid to cover administrative and processing fees.Parking is $7 for the day per entry with validationUS Chess Federation membership is required to be current until at least November 30, 2021It is highly recommended that scholastic registrants have previous rated tournament experience.
