Kinetic ear floss ADVANCE: $10 // DOS: $13 DOORS: 7:30PM // SHOW: 8PM LVVMAKING LVVMAKING is an electronic rock band of five based in Des Moines, IA. The group features three primary vocalists, Amy Wonderlin (she/her), Reno Kersey (they/them), and Ryan Lombard (he/they). Each vocalist writes and sings lead in addition to supporting one another with thick harmonies. Instrumentally, synthesis and sampling are key ingredients and are produced by bassist and producer Darren Hushak (he/him). The instrumentals utilize funky drums and bass, glossy synth pop leads, and grinding industrial tones that churn together with plenty of distortion and effects, resulting in kinetic and ear-flossing beats. Guitar still plays a creative and textured role, not to mention a number of solos from lead guitarist and drummer Joryn Brown (he/him). From a distance, the group has kept hard at work and are poised to release their sophomore effort in Summer/Fall of 2021, with more exciting details to come. xBk is a 250 cap entertainment venue/listening room dedicated to creating superior live entertainment experiences in a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
