Season of Smiles: Cleft Picnic for Moms Join us as we show appreciation to our moms with children born with cleft lip and/or palate! Alexia Young is a native Texan, born and raised in Texarkana, Texas. She is an Educator, Author, Creative Arts Director and Motivational Speaker. Her purpose in life is to bring hope to the brokenness through Christ’s Love. She has been blessed with opportunities to speak at conferences and workshops that focus on Urban Education. She has been given the privilege to share her life story of Beauty from Ashes, in reference to Isaiah 61:3 throughout Texas, Tennessee, New York and Kenya, Africa to empower young ladies to know their identity and develop self-confidence.
