Hello, We are looking to start a band that would play covers at local bars in the city and do original music as well. I have a ton of ideas.Currently, it is myself (guitarist), and a bassist/guitarist and a singer. Two 25 year olds and a 26 year old. We currently practice in the singer's garage and sometimes at Fort Knox. Our influences range from anything 60s like The Beatles and Stones to grunge like STP and AIC. Big on 70s classic rock like Zep, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd etc. Also like bands like U2, the Cranberries, and the Foo Fighters. Also do some country like Morgan Wallen, Tyler Childers, etc. We are looking for a drummer who would like to join us to complete the missing piece to our puzzle. I can play great rhythm guitar and pretty good lead. We are located around the Jefferson Park area and I would love to play at bars in the area and even go down to areas more in the city like Bucktown, Logan Square, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, etc. The singer and myself have just been doing acoustic shows, but we want to get a full rock show going.
