Piedmont Fat Tire Society adopted a highway to help keep our roads clean. We are meeting to pick up trash along Plainfield Road.
PFTS joined the NC "Adopt a Highway" program in January of 2019. We adopted Plainfield Road, which parallels and intersects Reedy Fork Trail. This gathering will contribute to keeping our assigned road clean and litter-free!
What to Expect:
RSVP/registration is required.Each volunteer will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate. Sign our events waiver beforehand and you are all set!It is best to dress in long pants and long sleeved shirt.We will supply gloves, vests, and bags.Coffee and donuts will be provided.Meet at the Richardson-Taylor Preserve parking lot at 300 Plainfield Road. We will disperse on foot or by car from there.Weather permitting, we will have a group ride on the Reedy Fork trail so bring your bike and helmet!More about the Adopt a Highway program
