Keyboard / Piano player wanted for original band

Seattle based band (Lake City) looking for the right fit on keys. Shows lined up, about an hour of original music. Who we are looking for: - Someone who enjoys playing original music, and understands that some songs require just playing a solid pocket. - Someone who will come to rehearsal and will do so on time. - Someone who has no ego / diva attitude, and will take/provide constructive criticism without taking it personal. It's all about improving our sound while doing so in a positive environment. We are all in it together. - Someone who will study the songs before rehearsal. - Soloing is a plus, but not required. - Reading music in not a requirement, understanding chord nomenclature is. Who we are NOT looking for. - A hired gun. - Someone who just wants to jam, but not to commit to a project. - Someone who will only use their piano sound for every part on every song. - Someone who's main instrument is not the piano, and does not really have any chops, but enjoys occasional chord playing. We are not looking for a virtuoso, but for a solid player who knows their way around the keys. Money talks: If you have ambition and want to make money playing with us, you are welcome to get involved, create/design/sell merchandising, book paid shows, and bring any lucrative ideas to our attention. We will listen and want you do be successful, but won't be paying you a salary. If you are after a steady paid gig, we understand this 100% and would humbly suggest that you join a casino cover band. If this is something that interests you, please contact us and include a recording of your playing. It does not need be a professional or high quality recording, just something where we can listen to you playing live. Video prefered but audio will suffice.
