Learn more about the Creative Process Walt Disney used with his Imagineers, as well as the Design Thinking process! So much of our classroom time is teacher directed using the 'I Do, We Do, You Do' method. This is a fantastic way to impart information to students, but it does little to launch creativity and imagination. In this workshop, you'll be introduced to the strategy that Walt Disney used with his Imagineers to storyboard/animate movies and create his theme parks. You'll also receive a crash course in Design Thinking which is the crux of STEAM education. After hearing about the fundamentals of these philosophies, we'll brainstorm ways you can bring them into your classroom to launch individual and group projects, re-enforce the writing process and revolutionize your science instruction! This will be a shorter workshop, and will most likely end around 3/3:10! And, of course, we'll have food and fellowship! Encourage your team to come together so you can get everyone's ideas and input! ❤️
