Join Lil' Miss Story Hour as we celebrate and honor our Black elders through books and engaging art experiences! On Saturday October 2, 2021, Lil' Miss Story Hour will be celebrating and honoring our Black elders with a local artists, art forms, crafts, and picture books! Explorations include but are not limited to writing, illustrations, mathematics, music, and social experiences. Book selections will include “Max and the Tag-along Moon" by Floyd Cooper; "Last Stop on Market Street" by Matt De LaPena; and "No Mirrors in My Nana's House," by Synthia Saint James. Our special guest will be Djembi drummer, Shawn. Mark your calendars and bring the kiddos!
