Art?” He’d always been good at it. The passion was there, too—an excess of it, even. Taking his guidance counselor’s advice to pursue art, Jack took up the major, along with a minor in art history with a studio emphasis. But the more he learned about art, the more he realized just how much he wanted to make a name for himself in the field—a field that’s been explored to the point of exhaustion throughout history. What Jack Storms didn’t know then was that he’d discover something that would push back the frontiers of contemporary art in a significant way. During his junior year at Plymouth State University, Jack snagged a job working for a glass artist who’d been experimenting with a technique that captured Jack’s imagination—combining lead crystal and dichroic glass using a cold-glass process. There was a moment of revelation. After all, the glass art arena is largely dominated by glassblowers who tackle the medium while molten. Fascinated by its potential, Jack spent a year learning the ropes of the technique. But to Jack, there was always more—more aspects to dig into, more ideas to sift through, more designs to test out and call his own. Jack Storms Website Krystiano DaCosta From the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Krystiano DaCosta emerged a unique artist with an urgency to learn and create. His Italian heritage and strong desire to explore new horizons drove him to move to Italy in her early 20’s in order to refine his artistic skills. Later, Krystiano moved to the United States where he became a Walt Disney World scenic artist. Fortunate to work alongside many talented artists from around the world, he learned an impressive skill set of techniques which has aided him in developing his own style. Kystiano has become a revolutionary pioneer in Central Florida through inventions of his own interpretation of industrial impressionism – developing pieces of art where he combines natural elements with traditionally European textures. The result is an industrial refine furniture collection, creating intricate decorative pieces of art an innovative pieces of furniture serving the industry of Interior Design. On his most recent work, Krystiano has been pushing the boundaries of fine art on metal. Literally born from fire, this technique took a period of years to be perfected. A chaotic collision between pigmentation and direct fire on distressed metal gives a holographic effect with an incredible three dimensional look, giving each piece its own unique character. @krystiano021 / Disney fineart California @disneysteampunk Oriana Pirella Oriana Pirella is a talented Venezuelan Artist based in Miami. From a very young age, she feels passion and attraction for the arts, fashion and music. She was studying Electronic Engineering, in her country, until one day, a family tragedy turned her life around, adding to this, the political persecution of university students, forced her to flee. She came to USA, to start from the beginning, like many others, with a suitcase under her arm “Full of Dreams”. Today, in retrospect, she defines it herself: "It was very difficult to overcome it, but today I see it as a blessing." It was when, she felt again the inside call for the Arts. She said art found her, everywhere she was going it was a reason to make art. She began to express her creativity in fabrics, canvases and digital art, using society and experiences as her greatest muse. “The more I create, the more I find myself and my inner self". Oriana Pirella Website @orispirella SPANISH SONGSTRESS "AYASH" ARTIST, SONGWRITER, ACTRESS, DANCER Karen Ayash, a.k.a AYASH is the next quadruple threat. Born in Barcelona, Spain, raised in Orange County, California and currently living in Miami, Florida, AYASH is a bi-lingual artist, songwriter, dancer and actress who combines feminine strength and warmth into a Spanish / Mediterranean infused take on the Latin Pop and R&B genres. With self-described “power, attitude and confidence,” AYASH manages to evoke an intoxicating artistic presence that bleeds strength and hopeless romanticism at the same time. Carrying equal capacities as an artist and actress, when AYASH walks in, the whole room turns to take in her uniquely real and grounded charisma and creative energy. All of this blends perfectly and puts AYASH on the map as one of the most exciting new artistic forces in Miami AYASH MUSIC Website @ayashmusic Sara O'Grady Sara-Jane Pippa was only 15 when she found a 45 pound ammonite fossil, which subsequently was put in a museum in London. She was wearing a skirt and ballet flats, and 10 years later her dreams of combining both, her love for geology and fashion have again come to fruition in Geology Couture, her newest clothing line. Geology Couture merges edgy, progressive designs with time-honored traditionalism, resulting in pieces that reflect not just visions of the future, but the past as well.
