Description

Experience a winter wonderland filled with elves, Santa & Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, Frosty, and other winter delights on Saturday, December 4. Come explore this Enchanted Winter Wonderland at the Plymouth Historical Museum, with tours starting every 15 minutes between 1 and 3:30 pm. Children will be given takeaway items at various stations. Your ticket also gets you in to see the Museum's special exhibit, "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." The Plymouth Historical Museum has installed an air filtration system, put in by Expert Heating & Cooling. This i-Wave-C air filtration system filters down to .003 microns and filters the air in the museum four times an hour. The Museum also has installed four HEPA room filtration units in the lower level meeting room, where this event will be held, to aid in ensuring the cleanest air in town. Tickets go on sale to members on October 11; they go on sale to the public on October 25. If you would like to become a member of the Plymouth Historical Museum to take advantage of the early ticket sales, visit http://plymouthhistory.org/get-involved/membership/. Twenty tickets will be sold for each 15 minutes. Tickets are $10 per person ages 11 and up; $5 per person ages 6-10; and children 5 and under are free. When purchasing you will need to pick a time and the appropriate ticket for the ages of the attendees. All children must be accompanied by adults. Please don't register only children with free tickets. These will be cancelled. This event is sponsored by Detroit Elevator. The Friends of the Plymouth Historical Museum, formally the Plymouth Historical Society, is a privately funded membership organization dedicated to preserving, teaching, and presenting history through the operation and support of the Plymouth Historical Museum.
